A new painting~ I am used to painting everyday, but with the recent renovations here I had put the paint brushes up~ There is nothing more relaxing to me than painting...it is my time, my peace. I love to watch as the personality emerges, layer by layer, stroke by stroke~
This painting is now available on my ebay site~
Around here I am the person who is probably most Internet literate,,....however, I struggle with the blog and links. I want to thank those who write, I do appreciate your comments , I just can't figure how to respond~

~

The new designs are underway, but I have a few that are now complete~
I know....it is six months away, but the workshop is gearing up for Christmas~ Last year I left everything way too late and didn't get all my projects complete~ I told myself then to get started early. So here it is near the end of June and I am in Christmas mode~ haha~
A new Laura Carey original is here~ These wonderful new Christmas stockings are made using only the best fabrics and trims~ The wool designs have been hand stitched~ They will be available for auction, but you can also email me and I will be taking orders~
I have several different farm animals~ ` There are a couple of different sheep and cow styles~ If you would like a certain breed of cow, just let me know~

New Ewe-La~

New Ewe-La~
The whole time I was working on this new Ewe the Dolly Parton song ' my coat of many coloyrs, my mama made for me' kept going through my head. It stuck theer and I was singing it all night in the barn milking the cows~ The new Ewe is now available on Ebay~
I also listed a beautiful painting of my wonderful Dandyion~ It is available on my Etsy site~
Dandylion was my most painted cow. She was so photogenic, and I have many many photos of her. There was almost a divorce when my husband sold my Dandylion....and all these years later, it is still a sore spot~!
